(plus a bonus dog treat recipe)
Yes, you can give your pets Hemp, which is why we made our unflavored tincture 100% pet-friendly! Start out with a smaller dosage and then work up to a higher amount as needed. While you’re testing out different dosages, take note of how your pet is acting. We recommend giving daily, but every pet has different needs! Curious to know how you can incorporate it into their routine? Keep reading to find out.
Giving them a dropper full.
This is generally the quickest way to make sure your pet gets their daily dose of Hemp. Giving it to them orally ensures that they’re not leaving extra Hemp oil in the bowl (so they get all the benefits of a full dose). Some pets become so used to having it their new routine that they begin craving it!
Mixing it into their food.
Do you have a picky pet? If they’re unfamiliar with Hemp, they might not be interested in taking it straight from the dropper. Instead, try putting some into their food. This will more or less mask the taste and scent, so your furry friend can enjoy their meal!

Incorporating it into a treat.
Want to treat your pet to something sweet? Our Hemp oil blends seamlessly with ingredients like pumpkin and peanut butter to create this healthy and satisfying treat:
Ingredients:
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
1/3 cup natural peanut butter
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 serving of our tincture per treat (amount of treats made may vary)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, eggs, peanut butter, and hemp oil. Stir until combined.
Add in flour and cinnamon, stirring just until combined.
Roll out the dough to one quarter inch, using flour to eliminate sticking.
Cut shapes out of dough and place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 40 minutes – depending on how crispy you’d like the treats to be.
Remove treats from the oven and let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month in the refrigerator or 6 months in the freezer!
